The CLEVER project continues its work to develop a transparent, accurate, and harmonised methodology for greenhouse gas (GHG) emission factor calculations, supporting consistent emissions accounting across transport and logistics in Europe.
Following the initial consultation on the goal and scope (Deliverable 3.1), we are now launching a second public consultation on the draft emission factor calculation methodology presented in Deliverable 3.2. This document provides detailed methodological guidance for calculating emission factors across energy carriers and transport applications.
We invite experts, practitioners, policymakers, and interested stakeholders to review the draft and share their feedback to help refine the methodology.
Why your input matters
Your insights will help ensure the methodology:
- Reflects the practical realities of transport operations
- Aligns with environmental and regulatory goals
- Is robust, consistent, and applicable in real-world contexts
- Supports CountEmissionsEU implementation
- Contributes to alignment with ISO 14083
This consultation helps validate and refine the CLEVER emission factor calculation methodology, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse users across the transport and logistics sector.
